Policy Administrator - SRIS


Location: Newbury Office, with flexibility to work from home


About the Role

Working in the Liability Team, this role will focus on providing excellent service to our customers. You will be the first point of contact, answering queries and issuing quotations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent verbal and written communication and a background in customer service, looking to work within a passionate and dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle incoming customer service and sales calls
  • Produce and issue quotations and new business documents
  • Process mid-term adjustments, renewals and cancellations as required
  • Manage workload in accordance with service level agreements and customer expectations on daily basis.
  • Communicate with Policy holders, Brokers and Underwriters over the telephone, email and in writing
  • Manage the customer experience throughout their journey be that at inception or during renewal
  • Understand the regulatory environment in which we work

About you
  • You will be a confident written and verbal communicator with great attention to detail and desire to work as part of a team.
  • Ideally, you will have experience in a customer service environment and understand what excellent customer service looks like.
  • You understand the need to be adaptable and flexible, whilst remaining calm during busy periods.
  • You will have experience working with Microsoft Office and understand the importance of keeping documentation and systems up to date.
